love, straight from the oven

IMG_7063I have a thing for cinnamon rolls.  So, when I found this recipe for bread machine cinnamon rolls I was pretty excited.  In my humble opinion these are the best ones I’ve ever had.  (And you can ask my husband, I’ve had more than my fair share!)

I’m planning on making these Christmas morning, and since this is the season of sharing and caring, I’m sharing the recipe with you!

Bread Machine Cinnamon Rolls

Dough:
1 cup plus 2 TBL. warm milk
3 TBL. oil
1 egg, lightly beaten plus 2 egg whites
1/2 cup sugar
4 cups flour
1 tsp. salt
3 tsp. bread machine yeast
Filling:
4 TBL. butter
1 1/3 cup brown sugar
2 TBL. cinnamon
Icing:
1 tsp. milk
1 1/2 cups confectioner sugar
4 TBL. butter, softened
1 tsp. vanilla

Put the dough ingredients in the bread machine in the order listed and run on the dough cycle. After the dough cycle is finished, roll the dough into a large rectangle and spread it with the filling mixture. Roll up and cut into 10-15 rolls and place into two greased round cake pans. Let rise in warm place for 45 minutes. Bake at 325 degrees for 20 minutes or until browned. Spread the icing on as soon as they come out of the oven. Enjoy!
