competition season

Gymnastics competition season is in full swing for Caroline.  Her first meet of the season at
the new level was this weekend.  She did an amazing job.  She went up against girls who are
competing this level for the second year and held her own.  She placed 2nd on vault, 1st on bars
4th on beam, 3rd on floor and 2nd place on her all around score!
Way to go Caroline!

the life of a gymnast

This is what Caroline looks like after a 4 hour practice at the gym; happy, tired and
needing to ice her legs.

Family is where life begins and love never ends.

gymdog camp

Caroline attended gymnastics camp last week at the University of Georgia.

She had a blast, and met and worked with a lot of great people.

Team Caroline!
Caroline Bradford (a Gym Dog gymnast) was her coach this week.
Little Caroline thought big Caroline was pretty amazing.

Who knows, maybe our Caroline will be a future Gym Dog some day!

reading buddies

Every evening I send the kids to their beds to read for 30 minutes before bedtime.
Tonight I walked into Noah’s room to find these two reading their Bibles together.
It makes this homeschool mama so happy to watch their love for reading and learning.

the butterfly whisperer

We bought some caterpillars recently to learn about the life cycle of a butterfly.
On their release date the butterflies didn’t to want to leave Caroline; I guess she’s
some sort of butterfly whisperer or something.  She says it’s because she’s so sweet.
(I’m not sure her little brother would buy that.)

photo friday

I took this picture of Noah and Caroline last week.
I love how it captures who they are; full of life, energy and always on the go!

happy birthday caroline!

Happy 7th birthday Caroline!

Caroline competed this weekend in the USAG State Gymnastics Championship.  She did an outstanding job and
placed 1st on vault, bars, beam, 4th on floor, won State Champion for her age bracket and placed 9th in the whole state
in all age groups!  We’re so proud of her and her never ending drive and determination.
